Entry Test

All eligible candidates have to appear in the Entrance Test. The course of the test is Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry up to HSC / FSC level. The paper for admission test consists of three sections that is Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry. The test is MCQ based and consists of a total of 60 questions, 20 from each section. The total time of the entry test is 3 hours, one hour for each section.

The institute does not provide any sample papers regarding the entry test.

Date and Place of Entrance Test

15th November, 2011 at 10:00AM
Applicants SHOULD report ONE Hour before the scheduled time at their respective Test Centre.
Karachi: At IIEE Campus
(for candidates residing in SINDH (U), SINDH (R) and BALOCHISTAN)
Lahore: At PCSIR Laboratories Complex, Ferozepur Road, Lahore-54600
(for candidates residing in PUNJAB, NWFP, FATA, AZAD KASHMIR and NORTHERN AREAS)

Entrance Test is conducted simultaneously in Karachi and Lahore. HOWEVER, Place of Entrance Test can also be selected by candidate (irrespective of his residency) by CLEARLY mentioning it in the application form.

The candidates are required to bring with them the Admit Card, pen, pencil, eraser etc. and a scientific calculator on the day of Entrance Test. Programmable/Graphing calculators are NOT allowed. The candidates found using any sort of unfair means, seeking help or helping other candidate shall be DISQUALIFIED from the test. Borrowing pen, pencil or calculator etc. during the test is NOT allowed. NO candidate, without Admit Card, will be allowed to appear in the Entrance Test.
