Campus & Facilities: Library

The Institute's library has a stock of about 2500 books on various subjects relating to industrial electronics. These books are selected to help the students and the faculty in their course of study and further enhancement of their knowledge. So the library has sufficient books available for reference and study. The seating capacity in the library is for 40 students.

The library contains up to date reference material, comprehensive collection of latest books encompassing all areas of industrial electronics and current issues of international, national and local scientific journals and computer & electronics magazines. The library subscribes a number of different technical magazines, periodicals and journals mainly on electronics and computer sciences. Special electronics magazines are bought for the student to keep in touch with the state of art tools and technologies. The library's holding and services are computerized for efficient operation.

A student can sit in the library during the official library timings from Monday to Saturday. However, the library will remain closed on each Sunday.

Library Rules and Regulations:
  • Ordinarily only two publications will be issued at a time for a period of one week.
  • A Publication can be re-issued after the expiry of one week provided no other requisition is received.
  • Borrowers will be held responsible for any damage caused to publication, while in their possession.
  • Library may recall any publication at any time without notice.
  • Reference books or series will not be issued.
  • In case of loss or damage to the books borrowed from the library of the institute, a fine of ten times the market price will be charged from the possessor.
  • For late return of books, a fine of Rs. 5/- per day per book will be charged.
Book Bank:

The library also offers Book-Bank facility. Its important features include distribution of full courses to each student from the Book Bank. The students are issued text books at the beginning of the year for the whole duration of the academic year. The books are required to be returned to the Book Bank at the end of the Year. The Book-Bank facility for the students of IIEE is available on payment of nominal charges.
