Trained and skilled manpower is the bloodline for industries and research institutions of a country. It is the foremost resource requirement for economic and technological advancement of a country. There are economic and technological GIANTS in the modern world, who are flourishing mainly because of their trained manpower. With an advancement of technology, the need of technology-specific higher education institutions (HEI) is ever growing, whereas general teaching institutions teaches basic principles of specific disciplines of science and technology. The application of these principles for finding solution on modern industrial problems have its own issues. That is why PCSIR established Institute of Industrial Electronics Engineering (IIEE), Karachi, in 1989, with an approval of Ministry of Science & Technology (MoST), Government of Pakistan. IIEE is practically trained manpower, for local industry and other engineering institutions, who are capable of solving their industrial electronics engineering problems.
IIEE has gained a very good reputation amongst engineering educational and engineering professional bodies for imparting quality education. High quality graduates of IIEE are making very good impact in these quarters. PCSIR, is trying its best to continuously support IIEE in achieving its targets and also, in maintaining its good standard.
