Academic Objectives

The candidates who aim to take up the degree course should by character and aptitude capable of profiling themselves from the instruction at the Institute level. The main objective of this course is to provide the student with a thorough knowledge of the fundamentals on which the modem engineering science is based. Theoretical instruction is supplemented with relevant experimental work in the laboratories and workshops. Comprehensive Instructional Programme is designed to develop rational thinking and approach to solve engineering problems, which subsequently prepares a young professional engineer, who may choose to work in the field or undertake advance studies and research. The students who comply with the conditions prescribed by the Institute and successfully complete their courses and pass the required examinations are awarded, the Degree of Bachelor of Engineering.
