The Quality Enhancement Cell (QEC) was established at IIEE on December 5th, 2016, following the recommendation of the NED University of Engineering and Technology. In the global landscape of higher education, ensuring quality assurance has become imperative, and the continuous development of faculty plays a pivotal role in this endeavor. At IIEE, the QEC is dedicated to enhancing the quality of education by consistently refining the skills and competencies of its faculty members through a range of training programs and workshops held at prestigious universities across Pakistan.
The primary objective of the QEC is to attain international competitiveness and alignment with the academic standards of leading universities worldwide. To achieve this goal, various initiatives are undertaken, including conducting surveys such as student feedback, alumni feedback, and employer feedback. These surveys help in gauging teaching effectiveness and ensuring that our academic offerings are in line with the evolving demands of industries.
In response to the evolving educational landscape, an Outcome Based Education (OBE) cell has been established at the behest of the QEC chairperson. This cell is tasked with implementing the Outcome Based Education System as recommended by the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC), ensuring that our educational programs are structured to meet the needs of the modern workforce and society.
Through its concerted efforts, the QEC at IIEE remains committed to fostering a culture of continuous improvement, excellence, and relevance in education, thereby contributing to the institution’s standing as a beacon of academic distinction.
