Overview
The course scheme shows what you study in each semester, which courses must come before others, where laboratories fit and how the final-year project is placed. It is the document to check before every registration.
Different batches can follow different schemes. Always start with the scheme for your own intake year; a friend’s plan from another batch may not apply to you.

What the scheme covers
- Semester-wise course list and credit hours.
- Prerequisites and the order in which courses should be taken.
- Laboratory courses and their linked theory courses.
- Electives and any specialisation options.
- The final-year project and its place in the programme.
How to read it
- Find the scheme for your batch, not the newest one automatically.
- Check the prerequisites for every course you plan to register for.
- Confirm laboratory and theory pairings before finalising your timetable.
- Ask the Academic Office if a course is offered in a different semester than expected.
- Keep a copy of the scheme you graduate under.
Unsure which scheme applies to you?
Tell the Academic Office your batch and programme; they will confirm the approved scheme.
Course offerings and prerequisites can be revised. The approved scheme for your batch and the Academic Office’s guidance take precedence.
