Overview

IIEE’s support model has two parts: a defined merit-based fee exemption and need-cum-merit scholarships. Both are administered by the institute, with clear eligibility and a formal application route.

The principle is straightforward: help capable students continue, reward strong performance, and keep every award transparent.

Merit fee exemption

In each semester, the top three students receive a 100% fee exemption based on the results of the previous semester. There is no fee exemption in the first semester.

If a position holder who receives the exemption withdraws, the award moves to the next consecutive position holder. This keeps the benefit with the students who have earned it.

Scholarships

Need-cum-merit scholarships are available from the IIEE student welfare fund. External scholarship offers are welcome, but requests and grants must be channeled through the institution so that eligibility and disbursement stay accountable.

How to apply

  1. Check the current eligibility and deadline announced by the office.
  2. Collect the prescribed financial-aid or scholarship form.
  3. Attach your previous result, fee voucher and the income or need evidence requested.
  4. Submit the complete application to the office before the deadline.
  5. Attend any interview or verification the committee requires.
  6. Wait for the written decision before adjusting your fee plan.

Documents to prepare

Talk to the welfare office

If you are unsure whether you qualify, ask before the deadline. The office can explain the current policy, the documents it needs and how the committee reaches its decision.

Policy details, deadlines and available funds are announced by IIEE each semester. Confirm the current rules with the office before applying.
