Overview
IIEE’s scholarship support has two core routes: a merit-based fee exemption for the top three students each semester, and need-cum-merit scholarships from the student welfare fund. External scholarship offers are routed through the institute.
The principle is simple: reward performance, support need, and keep every award transparent.
Merit fee exemption
In each semester, the top three students receive a 100% fee exemption based on the previous semester’s results. There is no fee exemption in the first semester.
If a position holder who receives the exemption withdraws, the award moves to the next eligible position holder.
Need-cum-merit scholarship
Need-cum-merit scholarships are available from the IIEE student welfare fund. The committee considers academic performance and the student’s financial need, using the evidence requested in the application.
How to apply
- Check the current deadline and eligibility announced by the office.
- Collect the prescribed scholarship or financial-aid form.
- Attach your previous result, fee voucher and income or need evidence.
- Write a short statement explaining your circumstances.
- Submit the complete application before the deadline.
- Attend any interview or verification the committee requires.
- Wait for the written decision before changing your fee plan.
Protect yourself from scams
- Use only official IIEE notices and office contacts.
- Never pay an agent or a “processing fee” to obtain a scholarship.
- Do not share bank details, OTPs or passwords with anyone.
- Ask the office to confirm an offer in writing.
- Treat unsolicited messages promising guaranteed awards as suspicious.
