B.E. Industrial Electronics Engineering

The programme IIEE was built for, and the reason Pakistan’s first industrial electronics degree exists.

Siemens automation kits in the Industrial Automation Laboratory

What you study

Electronics engineering combined with depth courses in industrial instrumentation, artificial intelligence, power electronics, embedded systems, robotics, and control and automation.

The programme runs over eight semesters. The first two years build mathematics, circuits, programming and machines; the last two specialise, ending in a two-semester design project.

Where the programme goes deep

Industrial instrumentation

Sensors, signal conditioning, measurement and calibration on real plant equipment.

Power electronics & drives

Converters, motor drives and the electronics that move heavy machinery efficiently.

Embedded systems

Microcontrollers, firmware and hardware–software integration for dedicated devices.

Control & automation

PLCs, industrial networks and the Siemens automation kits in the Automation Lab.

Artificial intelligence

Applied machine learning for inspection, monitoring and assistive systems.

Robotics

Sensing, actuation and the integration work that turns a kit into a working machine.
