Overview
The Student Registry & Counselling Branch (SRCB) supports students through a full-time Student Counselor. Counselling time is built into the official timetable, so asking for help is part of the academic week, not an exception.
The branch also coordinates student records, academic guidance and community-service activities.
What the branch helps with
Academic planning
Course choices, workload, semester planning and progression questions.
Registration & records
Guidance on registration, student records and official processes.
Personal support
A confidential conversation and referral to the right service when needed.
Community service
Coordinating service activities that connect students to the city.
How to book a slot
- Check the official timetable for the counselling time slot.
- Visit the SRCB office or use the contact channel announced by the institute.
- Bring your student ID and any relevant result or registration documents.
- Explain what you need in your own words.
- Agree the next step and any follow-up appointment.
What to expect
Counselling is a conversation, not a disciplinary hearing. Ask about confidentiality and who will see your information when you book. If the counselor cannot help directly, they can refer you to the right person or service.
Community services
Community Services — record
Activities and participation record.
Community Services — pictures
Photographs from community-service activities.
A space to study and ask

Not sure who to ask?
Start with the SRCB. If they are not the right office, they will point you to the person who is.
Counselling arrangements and community-service requirements are announced by the institute. Confirm current details with the SRCB.
