Overview
Every year IIEE organises a sports week with enthusiasm and a significant budget, running indoor and outdoor games for students across all four years. A separate playground is available for extra-curricular activities.
Sport does something a lecture cannot: it makes a batch work as a team when nobody is grading them.

Sports week
- Indoor games for students across all four years.
- Outdoor games and inter-year fixtures.
- A scheduled week of matches, not a random afternoon.
- Finals and awards that recognise participation and performance.
- A budget for organising the events properly.
- Sportsmanship: win without boasting, lose without excuses.
Beyond the scoreboard
Sport is a break from screens, a stress release and a way to meet people outside your batch. It also teaches the same lesson as a good engineering project: you win as a team, not as a solo demo.
Want to organise a match?
Talk to the sports organiser or the student office about fixtures, equipment and ground availability.
Sports-week dates and ground availability are announced each year. Confirm current arrangements with the organiser.
